How to create an animal-friendly product

According to numerous studies carried out by O’Higgins University on cows’ drinking behaviour, the dimensions and elevation of the water trough significantly impacts the amount of water consumed by cows. In a controlled experiment spanning six days and involving eight groups of animals and troughs of varying sizes, cows demonstrated a preference for the larger and more elevated troughs standing at 60cm. Similarly, in the subsequent experiment which examined the size of the troughs, it was observed that cows in larger troughs (0.>> The cows in the large (0.85m2) group consumed 10.5L more water daily compared to those in the small troughs (0.16m2) group. In the subsequent control test, cows in the larger group drank 10.5L more water per day compared to cows in the small group, revealing their preference for the larger, high-water troughs. Therefore, YEARAN’s product has a significantly larger watering area compared to a standard model.

According to H. A. Lardner, a professor in the Department of Livestock and Poultry at the University of Saskatchewan, a study on the impact of water quality on dairy cows showed that improving the quality of water can lead to a weight gain of 9-10% in 90 days. Lardner, a professor in the Department of Livestock and Poultry at the University of Saskatchewan, a study on the impact of water quality on dairy cows showed that improving the quality of water can lead to a weight gain of 9-10% in 90 days. Therefore, we have given special consideration to the design of YEARAN products to simplify the cleaning process, improve sink draining efficiency, minimize dead space in tanks, and provide exclusive cleaning and maintenance tools for each type of equipment. This ensures that cleaning is simple and productive.

Feeding cattle warm water promotes healthy rumen microorganisms, boosts feed efficiency, and lowers energy spent on heating cold water. These benefits result in better cattle productivity.

According to an experiment conducted in Gansu Province, the daily weight gain of the sample cattle in the experimental and control groups were (1.53±0.56) kg/head/day and (1.17±0.26) kg/head/day respectively. This indicates that the thermostatic drinking water system significantly enhanced the production performance of beef cattle.

The surveillance video study revealed two distinct periods of cattle watering: from 9:40 to 11:30 (30 minutes after feeding) and from 14:20 to 17:00.

Water temperature between 16-18 ℃ is optimal for cattle daily mass gain. Below 16 ℃, the cattle’s daily mass gain is significantly reduced.

Providing warm water at 17.69°C to beef cattle housed in enclosed barns during winter resulted in a 3.29°C increase in the near rumen body surface temperature for the treated group, compared to the control group. Additionally, the treated group exhibited an average daily mass gain increase of 0.36kg/head/day, indicating significant improvement in the growth performance of beef cattle.

Under the condition of -25.3°C outside the house and -2~-3°C inside the house, milk production can increase by 2.6 kg/day by providing drinking water at 14.6°C.

According to a study by H. A. Lardner, a professor in the Department of Livestock and Poultry at the University of Saskatchewan, it was demonstrated that improving water quality over a 90-day observation period can generate a weight gain of 9-10% in grazing cattle. The YEARAN product range streamlines cleaning processes and includes specialized tools for faster and more efficient sink cleaning.
